Royal Challengers Bengaluru produced one of their strongest performances of the season to defeat Gujarat Titans by 92 runs in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2026 and secure a place in the final. Playing at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala, RCB combined explosive batting with disciplined bowling to completely outplay Gujarat Titans in a high-pressure playoff match.

The victory sends RCB directly into the IPL 2026 playoffs qualification final, which will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 31. Gujarat Titans, despite the heavy defeat, still remain alive in the tournament and will now face the winner of the Eliminator between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2, following their recent RR GT IPL thriller.

RCB’s dominant win was led by captain Rajat Patidar, who smashed an unbeaten 93 off just 33 balls. His innings powered Bengaluru to 254 for 5 in 20 overs, the highest total ever recorded in an IPL playoff match.
